This document reflects how GameGrit works today and is pending final legal review.
GameGrit ("we," "us," "our") provides a youth-sports team-management platform for coaches, parents/guardians, and athletes. By creating an account or using GameGrit, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.
Who may use GameGrit:
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use GameGrit.
GameGrit has four roles: club director, coach, parent/guardian, and athlete. Your role determines what you can see and do.
When you create an account, you agree to:
Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. You may not create an account for anyone else except a child you are the parent or guardian of, as described in Section 3.
If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for how the minors (age 13–17) in your care use GameGrit.
Nothing in these Terms takes away a parent's rights under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or applicable state law.
GameGrit exists to help teams run a season safely. When you use it, you agree not to:
We take youth-safety violations seriously. See Section 7 for what happens when someone breaks these rules.
You keep ownership of the content you upload — photos, videos, messages, notes, evaluations, and anything else you add.
To run the service, you give GameGrit a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content to the people who are supposed to see it (for example, showing a team photo to that team). This license exists only so the product works; we do not sell your content, and we do not use it for advertising.
For minors, the parent or guardian controls the child's content on the terms described in our Privacy Policy. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, and do not upload another person's child's photo or information without their parent's permission.
Some clubs collect dues and fees through GameGrit.
You can delete your account at any time from the in-app Settings screen. What happens to your data when you do — including special handling for a sole guardian of a minor — is described in our Privacy Policy (see its section on account deletion).
We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms. Youth-safety violations — anything that endangers a minor — can result in immediate removal without warning, and we may report conduct to the appropriate authorities where the law requires or allows it.
GameGrit is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Please understand what GameGrit is and is not:
Do not rely on GameGrit in an emergency. Call your local emergency number.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameGrit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Until governing law and dispute terms are finalized with counsel, disputes will be handled in good faith between you and GameGrit.
We may update these Terms as GameGrit evolves. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email and in-app notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect, mirroring the notice commitment in our Privacy Policy. Continuing to use GameGrit after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
